FAMILY BOOSTER CAMP
Family booster camp is a vision God gave to our president on January 6 th 2008; when he was praying at the Redemption Camp in Lagos Nigeria .
He gave him the commission to build a family resort centre which can accommodate thousands of families at a time for family renewal, restoration, revival, repairing and rejuvenating towards building total home
He also gave him the name of the center; FAMILY BOOSTER CAMP.
The vision
To build a camp for families that can accommodate thousands of families for marriage renewal, restoration, revival, repairing and rejuvenation.
PURPOSE
• For Youth Conferences
• Vocational Center
• Resort Center
• Men and Women convention
• Prayer Retreat
LANDSCAPE TO BE USED: - 200 ACRES OF LAND
• 10 acres of flower garden to be known as Garden of Eden will be for relaxation of couples, for intimate discussion, and reflection in a natural environment.
• Halls – This will involve building conferences halls for conferences, workshop, training, prayer, etc.
• Hall David - This will be the biggest hall that can conveniently sit 300,000 people.
• Hall Wisdom – Can sit 10,000
• Hall Grace- Can sit 10,000
• Hall Power- Can sit 5,000
• Hall Love- Can sit 5,000
• Library : - This will be a modern library that can conveniently sit 2,000 people. It will be stocked with quality Christians books and magazines.
• Hostel Facilities :- There will be different categories of hostels:
• Boys' hostel- This will contain 24 blocks. Each block will be able to accommodate 6,250 boys conveniently; they will be divided into 12 blocks namely “ Apostles Avenue ” all blocks in Apostles Avenue will be named after 12 disciples of Jesus with Mathias replacing Judas.
• Promised Land- All blocks in this area will be named after the 12 tribes of Israel . Boys' hostel is expected to accommodate 150,000 boys in all.
Girls Hostels
This is expected to accommodate 250,000 girls in all.
It will consist of 40 blocks of houses, which will be able to accommodate 6,250 girls at a time. The blocks will be named after Godly women in the Bible; like Deborah, Hannah, Priscilla, Elizabeth among others.
All these hostels are expected to have world class facilities.
COUPLES ARENA
Since we desire to hold many couples programme and retreats, we are going to build many rooms that can accommodate as much as 100,000 couples at a time.
The following couples programme and conferences will be held regularly at the camp.
Marriage Renewal Conferences: - This will focus on couples that want to add the fire of romance to their marriages. It is expected to be a week long programme.
Couples will be expected to stay in the camp from Tuesday morning till Sunday evening. This programme will involve the following:
• “I still do” session.
• Show-me-your-wife session
• Marriage renewal session
• ITT period
• “Can I marry you again” session.
• Couples altar time
• Community work.
• Couples dance
• He- cook
• Dynamic teachings
• Drama, etc.
• Romance Hours - This period will be spent in the “Garden of Eden” (it will be made compulsory for all couples), it will be a period to play, talk, be together just staring at each others' eyes.
• Community Service Session : - A period the couples will look around the camp and find out what they can do together to beautify the camp. It may be clearing, dressing, planting of flower, etc.
• Bonfire night : - This will take place on Saturday night leading to departure on Sunday.
• Family Clinic - This will be strictly for couples that are in hurting marriages, it will also be a week long programme. The focus will be reconciliation, forgiveness, crisis management, intimacy. It will be full of activities and practical teaching. Couples coming for this programme must come with their wedding pictures, videos, certificate, etc. The focus will be to ensure that couples leave family clinic and remain married. No divorce
• Women Conferences - Regular women conferences will also be available. This will involve all categories of women singles, married, widowed, divorcee, etc.
• Terrific Wives Conferences : - This will be strictly for married women.
• Youth and Singles Conferences .
• Minister's Marriage Conferences - It will be a special programme for Pastors and their spouses.
• Church Marriage Retreat - Churches will also be allowed to use the center for couple's retreats.
ACCOMMODATION
With these couples's conferences in mind, good hostel facilities will be provided for couples with world-class furnishing. We look forward to accommodating 100,000 couples every time we hold the conference. Rooms will be in different categories.
- One room - Two rooms
- Three rooms - One room and a sitting space
- Executive chalet - Presidential palace, etc.
SWIMMING POOL
Standard size swimming pool will also be in the garden for relaxation and recreation.
CYBER CAFÉ
Standard cyber café will also be provided.
ORCHARD
A fruit garden of not less than three acres of land will also be in the camp, it will stand as a sign of fruitfulness for couples, sitting spaces will be created in the orchard for relaxation and discussion.
RESTAURANT
World-class restaurants will be also provided.
CHILDREN CENTRE
Children playing ground, nursery and crèche will be made available to free then from their parent through out the duration of the programme. Good children teacher will also be made available. This is the great vision from the Lord to change the face of marriages and families throughout the world.
The project in phases:
• Phase One – Procurement of 200 acres of land approval and clearing of the site.
• Phase two – Building of 10,000 capacity halls (Hall wisdom) and building of 15 blocks each in Boys and Girls hostels.
• Phase three - Building of blocks that can contain 10,000 couples and planting of the garden and orchard and children centre.
• Phase Four - Building of more chalets for couples and library.
• Phase Six – Building of more blocks for Boys and Girls' hostels and Hall grace.
• Building of hall David.
• Building of more chalets for couples and cyber café.
Where we are now? :
We are at the phase one of the project now and by the grace of God it will start soon.
